Sankalp offers services free of charge to women seeking to heal from any form of violence. We ensure that survivors of violence are treated with sensitivity and expert care, and that evidence is collected, processed and documented carefully. All information given by the survivor is kept confidential as Sankalp respects the survivor.

Please remember that it was not that it was not the survivor’s fault that she was assaulted.  Sankalp supports the survivor in whichever way she decides to handle the situation. We offer support so the she can make the best decisions for herself.

We partner with like-minded individuals and organisations that represent medical, law enforcement, legal, advocacy and other services that provide care and assistance to individuals who have been sexually assaulted.

Sankalp provides a range of services which includes

• Medical Aid and Support
• Legal Aid and Advocacy

Sankalp also supports survivors and helps them to overcome the trauma and rehabilitate themselves enabling them to mainstream into society.

• Crisis & Counseling Centre

Survivors can approach us for succor and support. A team of trained counselors, coordinators and volunteers are at hand to help redress/address issues. Counseling is also being extended to family and relatives. Support Groups will be formed to strengthen the survivor’s psyche.

•  Shelter

A safe protected environment for survivors who have nowhere else to go. This service is provided in partnership with other privately and efficiently run charitable organizations.
